Based out of Casselberry, FL, we are dedicated to promoting and directing high quality nursing care and rehabilitative services to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of those who are served through the centers we manage.
As Vice President of Rehabilitation Services & Case Mix for our skilled nursing centers, this role plays a vital part in ensuring the highest standards of therapy operations as well as MDS compliance.
This role will oversee all aspects of therapy operations for quality care, compliance and financial targets and provides support and oversight of the RAI guidelines in all centers with a focus on resident care and maximizing financial reimbursement through the MDS process.
This position works with other leadership in development of key rehabilitation and MDS initiatives and strategies.
This position reports directly to the Chief Operations Officer (COO).
Responsibilities:
Oversees overall therapy and MDS operations to ensure federal, state and company regulatory guidelines are adhered to including legal, reimbursement and documentation requirements.
Manage and provide support to the regional therapy and reimbursement teams, driving towards quality, compliance, and financial targets.
Prepare and manage annual operating budgets for all rehab departments and closely monitor performance and ensure first that quality services goals are met and secondarily that financial goals are met.
Provide guidance on RAI guidelines, maximizing reimbursement through the MDS process while adhering to state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
Licensed Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with a multisite management experience.
Minimum of 5 years of proven leadership experience in the skilled nursing home business.
In depth knowledge of MDS, the RAI process and Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement.
